you NEED to have them molded. unlike most heat molds, where it just helps with the break in period, these actually expand, and compact.

the only difference between this years and last is the rachet strap. the older ones used a different strap, and when they were really cranked down the teeth on the male end would strip out after a while. the new ones are different, and stronger. same boot elswise. if they do blow out, dalbello...

man, if you like the heel hold that those have, you may be disappointed goin to jesters. ive come outta them tons, they have hardly any elasticity in the heel. if your worried about pull outs, try epoxing in the screws.
