Read his message again, he's calling race skis gay. And its not false advertising, theres no law on how a company should measure there skis. Line does it according to the ISO standard, so obviously its the way some other companies measure their skis, otherwise it wouldn't be a standard.
The place is definately a little sketch, but if you go after a snowfall its golden. I would rather ski there than some of the resorts like Jasper, because its never crowded and they get so much snow. Where do you live Jetski, and do you ski PK alot?
Best thing you could do is measure them yourself and use a marker to put a black line on the sidewall at true center.
I'm always scared when I take skis to get mounted, that they'll screw up. But at least at my shop, if they mount bindings wrong on new skis, they replace them.
Some of K2's skis are very affordable, but for the most part, I think their prices are comparable to other company's.
On another note, K2 also makes some of the most solid skis on the market, and any difference in price between them and their competitors is because of they are a big company...
