    Painting Rails

I have a couple steel rails in my backyard. What I do every year is: 1. In the fall I use a belt sander and take all of the rust off and make it nice and smooth 2. Put some rust paint over what I sanded. I used tremclad rust paint. The paint will get scraped off the first time you slide it but...

They definitely had a price on them when I was there in the summer.

    Red bull bases

TMZ in Whistler has the very ski that T-Hall won the X-Games pipe on last year. They're for sale too, not sure how much.

    Bending FKS Brakes

I did mine the same way, but with an oxy acetylene torch. I had a partner in crime with a damp cloth held overtop of the plactic things on the end of the break to keep them from melting. I don't recommend a complete quench because it makes the bend really brittle, instead take a damp cloth and...

    WTB: Look p18(FKS style) hardware

The toepeice screws are the same as the toepiece used on the new PX12. In the healpiece the front 2 screws are way shorter than the back 2 and from what I know one of them isn't very common. Shops usually don't have leftover FKS screws and you might be able to order some from Rossi/Look but...

    Fks possibly screwed?

Some of the older FKS's have a plastic "half moon" piece as it gets to be called. The plastic ones break. They replaced them with metal ones on the new FKS's. I don't know where you can get new ones but I know some people have had luck buying new ones from Rossi. I skied on a pair of FKS's...

D-Structure is the only half decent one I can think of. There's another one run out of Calgary that sells 4frnt and Nordica but I can't remember the name.

Help needed! boots in larger sizes

I wear a 12.5-13 shoe and ski a 28.5 ski boot. Your ski boots will be quite a bit smaller if you want the right fit.

    What size is a 29

According to the box a 29 is something like a 11 shoe... but that doesn't mean anything. I wear a 12.5 Shoe and ski a 28.5 boot. Go to a bootfitter and get them to tell you what size to wear.

    W.

I saw it too. It's pretty 1 sided at the beginning but at the end you really feel sorry for Bush. It puts most of the blame on Cheney and makes it seem that Bush really thought that Saddam had WMD's. Oooh, and they make Condoliza (sp?) Rice look and sound more retarded that she does in real life.

    Tae Kwon Do

When I was younger I tried Tae Kwon Do and Karate but I didn't really like either of them. You never really get to fight each other, plus when you do it's not fun to get punched. Then I tried Judo and I really liked it. I got a green belt before I had to quit for skiing. You get to spar with...

What is the most fun non-video game?

Pool is hella expensive but really fun. Ping Pong sounds like the best bet but it really isn't fun to play with noobs. You can get a table at a garage sale for 50$ or make your own and then it'll cost 30 bucks or so for good paddles and some balls.

    Kelowna/Okanagan Locals

Are you going to Okanagan College or UBC Okanagan? If you're at Okanagan College then Vernon is closest and you should go to Silverstar. If you're at UBC Okanagan you're closer to Kelowna and you should go to Big White. Either way you should definitely get the dual mountain pass so you can ski...
