Oh, I forgot this website was just for 'newschoolers' who spend 100% of their time int he park. You know some people do other things besides hit kickers all day.
Hey man if time isn't a priority for you just wait. Wait till it gets to be 80* in Denver in July and August. You'll get your best prices then. Don't look to buy a new pair of skis your going to use 2 times this season and pay an extra $200 for. Also the new models will be on retailers minds...
Pocket Rockets are sweet. Soft as butter in the freshies but I can push'em on the groomers and they don't get sketchy on me at all. I ride the 185's and by far the best skis I've every ridden/bought.
How many pairs of poles do you guys go through each season? Just skiin' park last year I went through 4 pair, 6 pair total in the last 2 seasons. Right now I have two different brands that are about 10cm difference in length.
I've seen quite a few guys riding in those damn puffy jackets and I'm sure they're pretty damn warm but I know the first day I wore one I would tear the shit out of it. That material on the outside is so thin I'd catch that shit on something and ruin it. I've never seen anyone wearing a shell...
If your looking at getting a new pair of skis but still keeping the price down, look to an older model such as the Candides on ebay or something. You can probably get a new setup for $350 or below with something like that. The troublemakers are all praise from what I've heard. But a lot of...
North Face is too damn trendy, plus all the tourists from Japan and slapped from head to toe in that shit. You see the same jacket like 20 times on a mountain.
Just get a jacket thats original that no one else has. Who cares what brand it is, just get a decent one. For me pants are a bigger...
wtf...did he rip his pants, what do you think? look at the damn wound. Hey bud how long are you out for? seems like something that big will keep you out for a couple months at least.
These guys aren't buying the ski for the name on it. Think about it. If there was a ski called the Michael Jackson Pro Model and it was one of the best skis on the market you sure as hell would pick it up. The name of a ski doesn't fuckin' matter.
True, WC isn't known for the park but Flatspinner was there a few weeks ago and took some nice pics of a kicker they built. Looks pretty sweet, guys throwing D-7's and shit. Look him up under the photos section, they're all pretty good picks.
If your going to do this at least get someone else to ask the question for you. You have a post earlier that said your thinking of starting a goggle company specificly for skiers. Well did you start it or are you making all of this up. Either way if self promotion makes you feel better about...
