Actually the "slapping" effect that sometimes occurs during landings causes your skis to shear like crazy. Thats why cap skis dont do so well in the park. Anyway, long story short...its not that tough to delam a pair of skis in the park. I have delamed 4 pairs myself.

I agree with Andy, the jibs seem to be a little on the sticky side at alpine. Also the jibs are super easy to get onto, i'm not complaining too much since its the beginning of the season...but that first flat box that shouldn't be a box that can be ridden onto. Also, that lift tower section...

UNR, check out the 'reno rails' section in last years freeskier...super close to tahoe: squaw, northstar, alpine and others. Super good school depending on what you want to major in.
