    Skiing switzerland advice

From Geneva go to Portes du Soleil. In surface it's the biggest ski area you'll ever see (37 000 hectares), it's a powder magnet like Chamonix, and on top of that it has 7 parks of which the best in France (Avoriaz) and one of the best in Switzerland (Superpark Les Crosets). The area is so big...

    Can freeskiing be learnt?

everything can be learnt, it's just a matter of time for (motoric) knowledge to pass from conscious action to instinctive / unconscious actions. good freeskiers are so good because they don't have to think about what they are doing, it seems natural, but it came through practice and became part...

    Favorite Ski Mountain in Austria

Oh and Mayrhofen is shitty for park, I don't know where that guy gets that, but the whole Zillertal area is so big and has so many sick spots to shred pow. I don't know where you are from but if you are looking for Austrian parks check www.snowparkguide.com... For pow just grab a map and draw a...

    Favorite Ski Mountain in Austria

Arlberg IS St. Anton. I really like Silvretta Nova, it's smaller though. Mayrhofen and the whole Zillertal is also a good place to shred.

    Rome

I'm going to Rome on Saturday for 3 days for university. I'll be there with a bunch of nerds, but I wanna go out and experience the Rome nightlife. Is there anybody over there who knows what's up?

Another Apple Tread, But Please Help

It really depends on what you want to do. The screen on a MacBook is too small for video editing or photoshopping (in my opinion). If the Powerbook you're looking at has a 1440x900 display it's gonna be a lot better for that task, and is by no means slow. However it's an old computer and...

The French skiing side of things.

I don't know man. Public transportation in France is terrible. There will def. be busses to the resorts linked on the Chamonix pass.. for the other ones you'll need a car but they're not far an hour max.

The French skiing side of things.

There are some good spots in the less high-altitude areas around Chamonix. If you go a little further, Les Contamines is excellent for building booters, I guess its a 15-20 minute drive. If you want to come to France for some good back country, abundant snow, and good kicker locations you...

The French skiing side of things.

Because Chamonix has the best and the most abundant snow record of the alps. Verbier for example, has a terrible snow record it's locked off most storms don't reach to Verbier.

The French skiing side of things.

I'm not in France, but I'm close so I can answer: 1) the alps are covered in a dusting of snow, new snow is on it's way and it's ridiculously cold for this time of year.

The French skiing side of things.

wrong. ho5 have nothing to do with silvretta nova. There's no guarantee that ho5 will do a good job in Chamonix, just as Snowzone (Avoriaz) didn't do a good job in Valmorel on a similar project. But whoever would go to Chamonix for park should have their head examined.
