$35,000 for a year of HIGH SCHOOL: Worst idea ever. There are so many other ways to ski a ton and get a great education. Anyone who wants ideas can pm me with their details.
My academy cost $42,000 a year so it doesn't seem that crazy to me... people forget that it covers living costs as well as the academics. My parents dont waste their money on sports cars and stuff but they will pay whatever if it involves education and being in the right place. It's a lot of money but skiing is a rich sport people shouldn't be that surprised
i would of definitely jumped on this for a year if i were still in high school. but anymore than that would suck, you'd get so burned out. theres more to life than just skiing. going away from home early like that turns most kids into either top athletes or just lazy stoners
this is going to become the freeskiing equivalent of race academies which are EVERYWHERE.
Sure the first few years aren't going to be perfect but have a little faith that they'll make it work.
Oh and if you don't believe that you can be coached to be good at skiing just look at most pro freeskiers, andy racer, mogul skier, aerialist, or anyone who plays any sport.
