anyone who thinks Tanner should have lost on that night is a complete moron who does not respect what/where skiing is going....Tanner's run brought a new level of technical difficulty to the table along with sheer perfection and style
i've never wavered in my opinions of Tanner Hall. I am glad that our sport is growing and progressing and he is the spearhead for this awesome movement.
Tanner, so much respect for you man. I never once doubted how much you have really given to the sport of skiing. Props on the xgames win, and Believe was soo sick. I cannot wait for The Massive. Keep killing it.
do you people have sore throats from sucking so much cock?
alright here it is ill be the 1st to say it, Tanner might be the best but people are just sick of seeing him win plain and simple. He came into the sport as a rookie with such a shitty attitude that a lot of people have a real hard time embracing him to this day.
PS - he's a white kid from montana, not black from compton even though he is a little confused.
To the average JOEY, a backflip is way cooler than a switch 7. When crowds of people who dont even ski see huge airs they freak out, they dont even notice or care about right side or left side spinning. If it was up to Joeys, simon would have won, but since it was judged by skiers, they saw the obvious. If you have ever skied pipe, you know that Tanner deserved the win straight up. Right 9 is really hard first hit.
If you think Simon should have won you are a JOEY and youve probably skied like twice. I almost guarantee simon thinks the same thing. He wishes he could do right 9's, but he just hasnt got there yet. We he does, he gonna win all pipe comps easily.
All I gotta say is fuck all the people who hated on Tanner for winning the gold, because obviously don't know much about skiing and the direction it is going in. Like I said before he killed it with the most technical run from top to bottom in the pipe. He has raised the bar in the sport a lot more than people give him credit for.
