Everything looks so sick the only thing I'm worried about is the WEIGHT of those bindings. With that plate and everything they will probably be heavy, anyone know for sure???

This is only hear-say... but they said that the weight was greatly reduced from the original, all-metal design.

I was a big Line buff, and last year i was kinda starting to lose a bit of my enthusiasm for them, with all their problems with the binding, lack of progression in the skis, etc. But that article gave me new hope for them. I WAS going to get the Candide Pros next year, but now I kinda like the idea of stickin with Line.

The thick edges are a good idea to hop onto, and 86 under foot sounds mint for the pro models. I'm thinkin a new pair of Mike's sounds good.

Yea line seems a lil insecure with their products with all the massive changes all the time (one could also look at that as some type of progression) And having riden the mike nicks and the skogens I cant say im a big fan, but the chronics look pretty promising.

Anyone felt how heavy the new binding is? I talked to a guy i work with and he says they are heavy as shit, but that was the old one. for the base plate it was basically a slab of steal he said. Just wondering because they spend so much making the skis light, so i am hopping the binding would be supper light weight too.
