all i have to say is when the japan team is just hitting rails and thats it, they use snowblades and use no poles. Why? because it makes them have more balance so when the strap on the skis they do alot better. Thats what the japan team coach says and i believe it - they were doing switchups and everything of every rail in the park, and they thyed pop on the skis and do the same thing.

i rode with andy mahre once..... he wasn't using poles. everyone was like 'look, its andy mahre, and he is not using poles!' then they dropped their poles, because he did 270, blindside switchup, 270 off, and then he did a cab 3 blunt, and then another really neat something. and then i slept in the parking lot and froze my ass off. so the moral of the story is, if you are gonna talk shit, then just dont talk shit.

The people i ski with allredy think im a goofy mother fucker, wouldnt matter much if i took a run with poles or not.

i have to admit im not a fan of no polls but that was probly some of the best no polls steeze ive ever seen. i suck with out polls ive tryed it and it just feels wierd. i tryed doing cork 3s and 5s without them and i couldnt stick one clean i must have looked like a fudge packer
