This idea is retarded. Skiing is about having fun. Its something to do after school or on the weekends where you can just chill and have fun with your friends. Progression is always an aspect of skiing, it feels good to naturally get better at the sport you do but to shell out $35,000 to ski year round is ridiculous.
The thing is your not even getting a top level education...your taking online high school courses which are obviously going to be a joke. Theres gunna be a 'reading specialist', yea whatever you can't get a good education if you don't have teachers there. And especially if you have a learning disability. The guy interviewer was like are you gunna have people come and lecture and the guy was like I'll be lecturing, hahaha. And I can tell that guys a fucking lier because he said he speaks Latin. Bullshit. No one can speak latin, the language is literally unspeakable. Maybe he took a class or two in latin, but claiming you can speak latin is complete bullshit. He's a lier.
At home you can go to highschool and still ski everyday afterschool (if theres night skiing) and on weekends. If your good enough to break out as a pro then it will happen, getting coached isn't gunna do shit. Plus people don't know how hard it is now to become a pro. Like the level is so high, your not gunna make it.
the concept is cool but 90% of newschoolers do not have 20 000 to 35 000 to spend for one single year of schooling. Do they realise you can pretty much get yourself threw 4 years of university on a little more then that amount, pretty ridiculous if you think about it. But whatever like everyone has pointed out its for rich kids, have fun 10%, i`m truly jealous
so what do LJ's parents do? holy crap. how can it possibly cost 35 grand a kid to just go to school? that is plain ridiculous. not saying its not a good idea, but honestly. have fun at RICH KID'S (windells) ACADEMY! maybe take a page from the jib academy, a big event, definitely cost a good deal for salomon to put on, but no one paid a dollar for it.
