jeeez i wanna go to that soo bad!! i just dont think my parents would let me.. but thats probably the sickest academy in the US for skiers!! *imaginary high five to mike hanley!! good job coming up with this windells!!!!
^word, fucking academy kids are some of the biggest deuschbags on the mountain.
Seriously though, fuck paying 35 grand a year to ski and go to "school". Its just a playground for rich kids. I did independent study through my public high school during my junior year "with a teacher I could call and meet with anytime", guess how much that costs, $0. All I paid was my portion of the rent for a studio apartment walking distance from a Squaw Valley chairlift. Guess how much my season cost? Maybe $3200 with everything, season pass, food, rent, and all. 35 grand is a small fortune, I could live 4 seasons in Tahoe or Oregon on that.
the concept is cool but 90% of newschoolers do not have 20 000 to 35 000 to spend for one single year of schooling. Do they realise you can pretty much get yourself threw 4 years of university on a little more then that amount, pretty ridiculous if you think about it. But whatever like everyone has pointed out its for rich kids, have fun 10%, i`m truly jealous
"we know and understand that and acknowledge that many people within action sports have learning disabilities" thats great. looks like the rich kids arnt as smart as there parents.
