You were one of the biggest child hood heroes I ever had, a role model and an amazing athlete that set the standard for how to have fun in every aspect of life. Couldn't believe the news when I found out, much love to the family and to all those close to you. RIP shane, you impacted my life, and the lives of many others.

Oh man. Thats horrible.. RIP Shane. but it is true what one kid said above a few posts, "Legends never die". I will never forget saucer boy, the base jumping segments, and the awesome things he has done for the sport..

RIP shane, i grew up watching you do all sorts of crazy/ hilarious shit. my favorite was your red bull add in something about mcconkey where you tore it up on the basketball court. i hope theres mad pow up there for you, you'll always be remembered.
