    Well it looks like I got to the bottom of it. Even though I am still not 100% sure what lense I have. First of all, the website is screwed up. They no longer offer the Matte black frame with the VR28 lense. Instead of the VR28, they have black iridium, which is what the girl on the phone...

    maybe the site is screwed up. either way i have to call and see what the hell kind of lense i have first of all - most ppl here say persimmon. then i want the $35 difference back even if i do have the VR28, because there really is no reason for them to be more just because it is matte black.

    I was thinking that they shouldnt be 130 considering the VR28 lense alone is 40 just like persimmon. It seems like I did get ripped off.

    Are you serious, Persimmon? I paid $130 for these. I guess I have to send these back and have them send the VR28. I just am so perplexed that such a large company can make things so confusing. I order VR28, the invoice says Black Iridium, yet all of you are saying that it is Persimmon.
