Bought Oakleys but I cant tell what lense?

Ordered Matte Black Wisdoms with VR28. On the invoice it says Black Irid. But from looking at the website they do look like the VR28. I called Oakley anyways to see what they said. The guy said he has no idea. What's funny is, on the website the combination of matte black and black iridium isnt even available. what the f? Maybe I'll try taking a pic of them and posting it here.

Are you serious, Persimmon? I paid $130 for these. I guess I have to send these back and have them send the VR28. I just am so perplexed that such a large company can make things so confusing. I order VR28, the invoice says Black Iridium, yet all of you are saying that it is Persimmon.
 
dude VR28 from oakley is 90 bucks, the VR28 Black Iridium is 130, your probably got the VR28 Black Iridium, its the same tint as the VR28 with an Iridium coating
 
well i looked at oakleys site, they only have 3 colors of lenses for the matte black, Persimon, VR28, and High Intestiy Blue, so i dont know what you got, im gunna say VR28, but either way you paid way way too much, VR28 should run ya about 90 bucks
 
I was thinking that they shouldnt be 130 considering the VR28 lense alone is 40 just like persimmon.

It seems like I did get ripped off.
 
maybe the site is screwed up. either way i have to call and see what the hell kind of lense i have first of all - most ppl here say persimmon. then i want the $35 difference back even if i do have the VR28, because there really is no reason for them to be more just because it is matte black.
 
Well it looks like I got to the bottom of it. Even though I am still not 100% sure what lense I have. First of all, the website is screwed up. They no longer offer the Matte black frame with the VR28 lense. Instead of the VR28, they have black iridium, which is what the girl on the phone says I have.

Does anyone have any real pictures of the black iridium lense?
 
You can actually get any lens for any wisdom the site just doesn't reflect this fact. That definitely isn't Black Iridium bro I'm looking at mine right now. I agree that yours are probably Persimmon and that either way you paid too much. Try and get the black iridium if you already paid $130 cuz they're sweet. Then cop a hi blue and you'll be set for any conditions.
 
You for sure don't have black iridiums bro take them to a shop and ask to compare them. The iridiums are darker and they have a shiny coating

Thanks for the pics, but I swear to god, I still can't tell what the fuck lense I have. I would say it does look mostly like the VR28,
 
i won a pair - silver frame fire lens and went to the store to return them for store credit and got 141.98 for them. that money is going to a new pair of skis.
 
So, I went to a ski shop to take a look at their goggles and compare them to mine.

Even though the girl on the phone said they dont make matte black with vr28 anymore, that is what they are, vr28.

I bought a pair of matte black with hi blue with 20% off.

I am returning the pair I bought from Oakley, and I ordered Black Iridium lenses for the sunny days.
