Are Lizzie's the right ski for me

I wouldn't exactly say they kill groomers. They aren't bad but if you are mainly using them for groomers they are too fat. If you were a little smaller i would say go for lizzies but i think they will be just a tiny bit too small for you. If you ask me I would go for something with less width...

Jay-Z? Coldpay? Nine Inch Nails? Pemberton?

Tickets go on sale on March 28 at www.pembertonfestival.com looks pretty nuts....they are expecting 37,000 people...don't know how that is going to be possible considering the town is about 2000 people with very little public services. A friend of mine said they tried to have an Air Show in the...

Bindings - STH 16 vs. Rossi Scratch 140 PIVOT

I have both the STH 12 and P12's on my lizzies and bacons respectivly. If your charging or riding pow i go with he P12's any day...they seem to pop off only when you want them to and are alot easier to get into when your clogged with snow. The one thing i do notice that i am not a big fan of...

    Elizibeth ?'s

Very true you can ski any ski in any condition...that doesn't mean that they are good at it.....i have been on many skis that are alot better in the crud....don't get me wrong i love my lizzies, they just stay home on the deep or crusty and cruddy days That being said for the dude thats 5'4 120...

    Elizibeth ?'s

I have this years lizzies mounted with STH 12's and they are pretty light...however i dont know if thats for sure a good thing...their weight combined with the lack of stiffness make them pretty unstable in any kind of tracked or heavy snow

    Line Elizabeth's mounting question

yep mount em at recomended. They are symetrical so anything further forward or back will put you outside the area where they are supposed to carve from

    Pilsner Beer to make skis....

^ From what i understand the 186 has a funky hybrid sidecut and the 190 is normal traditional style. They are twin tip but not a true twin (rear isn't as high as the front) Fairly stiff. For reference I am basing this all on last years' skis which my roommate has.

    Dalbello vs salomon

Of course your prob a much better skier than I am. The reason I got my boots to fit properly is because i am just learning...once you get really good at skiing boots are supposed to fit baggy....in fact the pros wear boots so big that they can fit their shoes on underneath.

    Dalbello vs salomon

^ and just to clear it up...i went into the store with an open mind to buy whatever fit my foot the best. The only reason i ended up with dalbellos is because dalbello was the best fit for my foot and the reason for the rampage was my desire for a soft boot.

    Dalbello vs salomon

Ok....so usually I am a pretty big troll..but this constant boot question is really disturbing to me. It amazes me how many people go to a store and buy a boot right off the shelf because they like the look of it or have heard other people liking them. Or even worse the internet buy judging by...

    Elizabeth Trade??

Hey buddy, I bought both lizzies and bacon's this year. I feel the exact same way about the lizzies that you do...great in trees and tight pow but they suck in the open bowls, steeps and on and kind of chops/bumps. The Bacons on the other hand are great in the open bowls and deep stuff but...

New boots, do i need a remount?

If your not sure what you are doing I would have a shop or somebody familiar with the bindings set them up for you. If you mess around with forward pressure and it is not set properly it will make your din setting worthless. Had a friend blow out his knee that way. Besides it will cost less...

    Brakes too wide??

Ohh really? i feel stupid for not knowing that....so you mean that on top of retracting like they are supposed to they will also pull closer together to form more of a 90% angle? thanks

    Sms pants sizing

I dont know about the pants but the i got the nasa jacket and it doesn't fit super big. I am 5'9 140 and ended up getting a large this year...fits me perfect....if i was any bigger i would go with the XL...but that being said i'm only going by how the jacket fits.

    Brakes too wide??

Ok so bought a pair of Lizzies this year and decided on some Salomon STH bindings. The brake options were 100,115 and 130 so i went with 115 to cover the 110mm waist of my skis. I figured this would be fine as my look bindings were around the same difference on my old skis and fit pretty...
