She is something like 5'4"-5'6" I think.

Also, the skis do not need to be twin tip, she's not a park skier... yet.

I took my girlfriend skiing with me last year a few times and she is really starting to catch on. However, every time we go we need to rent gear for her, so I am thinking about getting her something cheap for Christmas. She is still a beginner, so the skis don't need to be anything special.

Just get one of those Dakine ones. Or just buy off Tramdock or Steep and Cheep. Prices are usually pretty good when they are on there.

I've been looking at train tickets and I seem to have found a one-way from Mt. Pleasant IA, to Denver CO. Price is about $87 which doesn't seem like too much of a rip off. Sorry if this is a re-post. I was just curious as to what gets people stoked before skiing. Also, I always like listening to new music or stuff I hadn't heard of before.

I'm poor and need money so I can buy new gear to ski this season. Does anybody here donate plasma? I think it would be a good way to make some fast cash. Other suggestions are welcome as well.

What is your favorite band or artist to listen to before you hit the slopes?
