    Location of Loveland Ski Hut?

I just saw a some pics of a friend's ski trip and was impressed that they found a hut in the woods at Loveland and stayed there for a few days. I am heading out to Colorado in a few days and think it would be sweet to find that place and spend a few days myself. I'll post a few pics and...

Also, the skis do not need to be twin tip, she's not a park skier... yet.

I posted a thread like this about the same time last year. One of the more interesting links was this: http://www.casesbypelican.com/pelican_Camera_cases.htm

    Monty Python is the best!

...And Saint Attila raised the hand grenade up on high, saying, "O Lord, bless this Thy hand grenade that with it Thou mayest blow Thine enemies to tiny bits, in Thy mercy." And the Lord did grin and the people did feast upon the lambs and sloths and carp and anchovies and orangutans and...

    WTB cheap skis for girlfriend

I took my girlfriend skiing with me last year a few times and she is really starting to catch on. However, every time we go we need to rent gear for her, so I am thinking about getting her something cheap for Christmas. She is still a beginner, so the skis don't need to be anything special.

    WTB: Ski Backpack

Just get one of those Dakine ones. Or just buy off Tramdock or Steep and Cheep. Prices are usually pretty good when they are on there.

    Hitch-Hiking from Denver

I've been looking at train tickets and I seem to have found a one-way from Mt. Pleasant IA, to Denver CO. Price is about $87 which doesn't seem like too much of a rip off. It's better than taking a plane at least. Besides driving in a group (which I can't do) is there some cheaper way of getting...

    Favorite Pre-Skiing Music?

Sorry if this is a re-post. I was just curious as to what gets people stoked before skiing. Also, I always like listening to new music or stuff I hadn't heard of before.

    Giving Plasma

I'm poor and need money so I can buy new gear to ski this season. Does anybody here donate plasma? I think it would be a good way to make some fast cash. Other suggestions are welcome as well.

    Hitch-Hiking from Denver

Long story short: I'm a broke ass college student from the midwest looking at taking a train to Denver. Once I get there I am considering hitch hiking to Breck. Any input as to how doable this is?

    Magnet bindings

Well just imagine if you could harness the power of dark energy in your skis. It appears that dark energy is causing our universe to expand at an accelerating rate, pushing everything away from everything else. Dark energy appears to be stronger than both gravity and electromagnetism, in...

    Tanner hall = amazing

Last year I was having lunch and he came in and sat at the table behind me. Couldn't help but hear him and his friends. Sounded a bit stuck-up and high-strung to me. So while he may be one of the top skiers in the world, he definitely wouldn't be somebody I'd hang out with in my free time.

    Indestructible Backpack!

This winter when I hit the slopes I really want to be able to bring my camera along. I have a Canon Rebel xti which takes some really nice pictures depending on the conditions (when it’s too cold it takes forever to snap the shot). Although the quality of the pictures is top notch, the camera...
