What's the point in not making a 'real' wood core? I ordered a pair of the foils anyway, it's probably foam, but good skis nevertheless.

2006 CR labs does have a wood-core, unless the foam looks like wood and feels like wood when drilling holes. And breaks in half like wood. 2005 had the foam-stuff. I've heard plenty of people from North America say the same about those skis, and someone said something about different EU and US...

CR labs have a wooden core too, best skis I've ever had. Only problem is that they break quite easily.

The Dumonts are wood too. So I think they finally got to change things now.

Karmas are not stiff at all, tried them this weekend. Felt about the same as the regular foils to me. Next years Karmas that is.

Does anyone know if it's just the same ski with new graphics or if Salomon finally puts a wood core in those too? Talked to someone at Salomon last week and he told med they were going to make a Salomon LAB-version of the Foil with wooden core and really stiff. I don't believe that at all, but...

Isn't the Chronic softer than the Prophet? I'm looking for a really aggressive, not forgiving ski. What about the quality of Line-skis these days? Still falling apart like they did some years ago?

I'm looking for a ski I can take anywhere. Will probably be used 60% in powder and 40% park/slopes. Need something that floats well in powder, can be used in the park and are have grip on icy slopes. Waist should be below 100mm and length about 180cm. Should be pretty stiff and responsive too...

I've had plenty of 1080's, riding on the purple ones with camo-surface now (CR pro model or something). I kind of like them. :)

Or is it just me? Logged in for the fist time since last winter or something, and it was like a thousand million new forum-posts and 200 members online daytime in europe. Not a bad thing at all. :) Bet this site just will evolve and get better and better. Keep ut the good work!
