    RCR story

There is a pretty big write up on it on the latest issue of Ski Canada Magazine. The article's headline made it on the cover so it will be easy to find on the stands. I actually haven't been on this site for over a year, and after reading that article, I decided to check out NS to see the...

    Racing VS Freestyle

Spoken like a true racer. I bet his dad drives an SUV. ...I liked racing when i was younger but i don't miss it at all. It was snotty kids like you, and thier rich parents that bring in all the fucking politics. I've traded my 3Vs for twins a while ago and i'll never go back. I ski for me know...

    Sharpie on skis?

As an ex racer, this is the funniest thing i've ever heard but i guess if you just use your sticks for park, it isn't too big of a deal. But if you use your skis for any type of speed on hard-pack, you don't want to use p-tex unless you apsolutely have to... and I highly doubt it will stay...

    Full Face Helmets motocross style

Real moto-cross helmets would be dum for skiing. Way too heavy. I rode with a mtb FF (661 full comp or something) last winter but i didn't really like it. It was a little to hardcore imo, and i felt out of place with it. I got a RED Trace for this winter.

I may not have as much cool gear as you guys, but i do seem to have one of the bigger beds hehe. -The ff helmet is just until i pick up a nice ski/boarding lid -just picked up the new foils, can't wait to see what they are like

    RAIL TIPS

"U WILL FALL if you've never slid a rail so be prepared." - freezkier he is right. My side is still messed from my first attempt at nailing a rail. best advice is definitly, commit, wider stance (not too wide), overcompisate the forwardness, AND START SMALL THEN PROGRESS!!

    Bandit B2 vs. Dynastar 8000

I don't know what the dynastours are like, but i have a pair of b2s and i think they are great. Come from a racing backround, and I ride pretty hard (need dins at 9.5+ or they fall off). I think they hold an edge at high speeds quite well. They aren't a GS ski by any means, but that isn't what...

    +++HeadPhone Choices+++

Sony MDR V300. goods sound, looks pimp, retail is up to 100 bucks CAN... or 30 if you know someone who works at Best Buy! My only beef is that they whistle when you are going fast. If i ever break them, i'll probly take them apart and inigrate them into my helmet.

    Edge tuning

To make sure that you are sharpening the whole edge, use a felt marker and make little ticks across the edge. That way, you know how much of your edge is getting sharpened. If you are doing rails, don't sharpen the underfoot of the ski at all. and as for waxing, don't stop moving the iron, you...

How to change a racer girl into a freeskier?

Convert her race skis to twin tip with a torch, vice, and a few rivets. ...and if that doesn't work, then sleep with her friends.

    Salomon x wave 10

correct me if i'm wrong, but canting has nothing to do with stiffness. It adjusts the angle of your foot from your legged. This comes in handy if you are bow-legged and need adjusting to rebalance your edge work. Most upper-end boots have them.

Why do we pay so much?

I just about dropped 4hundy on the 686 smarty jacket. Nicest jacket i've tried on in a while. I'm glad i didn't tho, arm and a leg.

    Salomon x wave 10

I've got the xwave 8s as well. They are really nice. If i were any smaller though, i would even want a softer boot. If you can get a pair of the xwave10s for REALLY cheep, then look into cutting them to soften them up. Just make sure that you drill the ends of your cuts so they don't follow. Too...
