ya 1260 is nuts, but he only did 3 hits and they were all unsteez, and i bet its hard to steez a 12, haha, but a straight air and a cork 9 for sure can be more steezed, i thought he should ahve been top 5, but not 1st
I don't know about the format, but if it was jam, then he had a consistent day.
I skied with him at whistler and he can have good days where he never sketches a trick. he could have just been the most consistent
uhhh it was a jam but the took the best run, a jam means when they just let whoever is next in line go and u can take as many runs as you want in the amount of time. they took the best 1 run
i think that was pretty sick whether or not he had good style... oh and all of you people who say steeze just stop cuz it makes ya look like douchebags
yea... not sure what to think... i mean, a 1260 is crazy... but only three hits, two being spins on the same wall, the other a (kinda small) straight air... there was no variety in his run... a good halfpipe run is suposed to have variety and amplitude... his run had neither.
does anyone know who the judged were for the competition?
i got mixed feelings about this, he did land a trick that nobody else has done, or at least brought to a comp, and on the other hand it was kinda sketchy with 3 hits and all, unless thats editing?
not everybody was fucking up. there were a lot of people who had clean runs that had amplitude, variety and style. and four or five hits. the judges were josh loubek, mike atkinson, and a couple of other guys.
