having served in the military myself I have obvious objections to your comment. I will say this to you, if you do not love the country that I served so hard for you to have, then leave. No one is going to stop you from moving to whatever country in the world you want to leave. That having been said, I urge you to stay as you enjoy some of the greatest privileges in the world here. Do you like skiing? Imagine not having the freedom to do so. I urge you, for the sake of this country, either respect it or leave. I am not saying that you have to agree with everything that the government does, put to blateny denounce the military that sacrifices its lives for you in complete and udder disrespect...

the military occupations of iraq, afganistan, and gaza have nothing to do with my freedom, they are one of the things that give us this 'privilege'. the privilege to live how ever the fuck we want regardless of the damage it causes, and that is nothing to be proud of.
skiing on stolen land does not make my proud, killing innocents does not make me proud, and having a piece of propagandist shit run before i watch clips of skiing make me sick. it ties the sport i have loved with the military industrial complex, and war culture in direct ways. these are things that i'm not proud of. what right do we have to ski on the land of first nations when the land can no longer even support their culture, their lives?
so don't tell me to love the military or leave turtle island, situate yourself as a settler and try to decolonize yourself from the system of oppression that you live in.
