am i the only one not digging this?
don't get me wrong: smooth and styly edit.
but fuck, i'm exspecting more than 540s as a best move in a pro skier's edit.
not against shifty sometimes to make a 360 look good, but in every damn move?
and landing sideways with a shifty on the ground? really?
everyone so amazed at that and pissed at bio 14?
or does everyone love this cause it makes them feel like they can do the same tricks as a pro skier?
agreed, those tricks are kind of easy. I do love mike hornbeck style but he should learn something bigger than a 900 or a 4 out... i have never seen a bigger trick than that from him... He is a restricted skier... no pow, no comp, no tech trick ??? But still, he can have some good stylish shots for ski movie
^its because he is doing what he wants. and he is making it look incredibly easy. At the same time everybody has there individual opinion, personally i think what hornbeck does is really sick, but there are many others who dont.
hornbeck has always been one of my favorite skiers. although this edit was kinda disappointing, i dont think not spinning over 9 is the problem. you can put out the sickest edit ever with only spins up to 9 with bangin style... this edit was just kinda weak
@afterbang- i would agree. Hornbeck's parts are some of my favorite segments in Level 1 every year. He compensates lack of tech by amazing style and i respect that. But this is weak. Ask any pro to do a couple 540s and blind sw ups over the summer and any of them could do just as well.
@Ncurry- i do what i want too. don't you?
@wisconsinsteeze- thanks for your open-minded addition to all this.
