Dspin....you don't sound too knowlegable with regards to avies yerself! You should never hang out in a slide path, and if yer in the BC the avie danger is never 'zero' is may be 'low' but avies are always a possability.

actually the avy danger is quite low alot of the time. in the winter it can get pretty high though.

Yeah..the head wall is 50+ degrees with a huge windloaded cornice....very dangerous...118 people have died there since 1900...its some pretty serious terrain.
