hey hey, when i got my stl's i mounted the skis' at 2 cm forward from measured center. little bit of an experimental thing, but it allows for amazing switch skiing, i tend to ski slightly backseat, so this allows my ankle to be the piviting point for the turn radius. I find it also give's that little more support for landing jumps to push u a tad further forward, if u tend to land backseat more often. most of my ski's are mounted at measured center, and i find its the best way to go, plus my stl's were 183's, a big ski for park and my weight, so it felt shorter. i work at a shop, so i mess around with this kinda stuff alot
Invaderman, you should have mounted them backwards if you're mounting forward of centre. So the tail is in front of you and the tip is behind, then mount slightly towards the tail (forwards). That would rip switch, I've been wanting to try it on some old skis for a while.
thank you so much for these videos, its great to have a refresher for basic concepts for skis, that is the exact reason i have never mounted my skis true center, but i never knew the term for it, thanks keep it up
