corporate companies want to get the best capital gain, meaning most profit. Armada, 4Frnt, ect make only park and powder skis and market them to the kiddies who idolize their riders and think they are 'cool'.
Liberty, on the other hand, is run by skiers who just love to ski. The owners wanted to create a boutique ski brand for all levels and all types of skiers. We have models for your old man to go social skiing with, we have a model for the 28 year old ski bum to go rip powder with, and we have 3 models for the advanced to expert freeride skier to take anywhere. These 3 and the powder ski are probably the only skis any of you would be interested in.
Armada and 4Frnt are great for the industry, they take all the benefits of corporate advertising and marketing tools, while using the top riders to help design the products.
Liberty is just a small company with skiers making skis for skiers. No big corporate advertising, no sales quotas, and no profitering bullshit. We are truely skiers making skis for skiers.
