*warning, philosophical rant* Jebus 1987, its only worth it in my opinion if they can somehow live it up, but be thankful for what they have, and maybe some how give back to the community. I'm sure if they survive past their 20s-30s they look back on it and be like, that was fun... now what? ya know. recently i had a life changing experience when I had to drive myself down to the Emergency Room last sunday to save my own ass. It's fun to have a good time w/ friends but young people like us always seem to have trouble in thinking ahead to the distant future, thinking about whether I will regret what I am currently doing. Skiing is interesting in that its so diverse in that you have the wine-snob/rich countryclub folk who do it as a hobby and you got the kid who goes maybe twice a year as a recreation and might not consider it a "sport", and you also got guys like these making money getting sponsered living up the lavish lifestyle and having a hell of time all the times. (in my humble opinion) It's all about what your aspirations are, if your passionate about something and its for what you think is a good cause then go for it! but if there is any serious doubt about things like drugs*(which i will never touch, unless they're legal because i was on way too many drugs when I was intubated as an infant), and or societal pressure, then maybe one should take some serious time to reevalute their current position in life, and their overall well being. I'm def. gonna try an make a thread about this b/c i was on anesthesia and that stuffs fucks u up... <br>
