e) Just pulled out this years SBC photo annual (fantastic issue btw), only one with a landing cut off is from a Momentum Exposure camper (p29) and its not dead centre, and it actually works. I cut my landings off or use dead centre quite a bit, but I only do it if it WORKS or ads something to the photo.
If the photographer had taken a step back, angled the camera farther down, and recomposed to put the skier top left, actually making the gap look bigger (KEY), it would have turned out better in my opinion (whatever that means)..

ok so after seeing some critical comments i made a short vid of some extras that we didn't use from last season. It includes a few shots from the location of this pic. I don't do vids often. this vid should show the ones who criticised my picture that no other perspective would have been so effective by making the rider look so high off the ground. I used a 10mm lens so it was the max possible wide angle..
