Fixed the two episode 7's problem. We are definitely on number 9!
We will be going into more touring stuff next week, but really, these are just quick videos designed to get you into the idea, at which point you should go get some real backcountry travel training through an avy course, etc. As good as Tech Talk is, it's not substitute for hands on training with experienced people.
As for the sound, shooting all day in the cold is hard on batteries. We got down to one working mic.
Yeah, we appreciate any comments, suggestions, etc. About half our episodes this season have been directly asked for by NS peeps. So If you guys want to see more about something, let us know. We still have some to film this year.
i did some touring this year at alta and it was killer. definitely a good change from skiing park all the time. its A LOT easier than you think. i highly recommend adjustable poles

Man, make sure you tell everyone to get their goddamn avalanche education before you advertise how awesome touring is. Enough certified people die in slides every year, I don't want the backcountry to be in lockdown because newschool kids think it's legit and then get spanked by the snowpack.
