layer masks all you did was select one of the layers and went down the layer mask list to see what one was the coolest. i dont know why you have to act like your the best at it b/c if you were you would be making things for real companys
Actually, no I didnt asshole. And theres a thing called a college degree which you need to do professional image design. I've already been asked to do logos/websites/flyers/posters for various local companies. Is that good enough for you? If you don't know what the fuck you're talking about, than lay the fuck off. Especially since you're obviously new to NS.

seriously though, you dont need a college degree to do 'professioal image design'... whatever that is. i think you mean you mean graphic designer, which is the common term. you dont need a degree to do these things, you just have to want to do it bad enough and love to do it even more.
also, photoshop skills are not important in any graphic industry worth pursuing. you cant get a good job by saying i can use photoshop 7 really well!
if anything... learn to use adobe illustrator as soon as possible.
and create all your photoshop work from scratch, dont take a picture of a model then claim you drew it from pencil then put pink ripples over her face.
