I finally figured out how you did this apart from the fact that you left the shutter open for a pretty long time, you took this picture during a meteor shower right?
Oli-yes you're right. the north star stays put in the sky. <br>

Bo-the photo was not taken during a meteor shower..its just the earth rotating and the stars moving by.
