yah longboarding can be treacherous, one night in college station this summer we were all super drunk and decided to go ride at like 3am...i hit a corner too fast, over-steered, tried to do a quick control turn, and totally lost it
i didnt slide or anything, i actually managed to roll pretty gracefully, but it was still a hard bail and i punched a bunch of holes in my hands and elbows knees and tweaked my wrists
...oh, and last year i was riding on campus and hit a steep, narrow hill...called "heads up" to some guys who didnt hear me, had to dodge them and it sent me over a storm drain...board stopped cold and sent me flying. 10 stitches in my knee, broken sternum, and had to have my eyebrow hot-glued back together...sweeeeeet
