yeah, those really wouldnt work, for a C-rail you need more support cause theres force pushing it sideways so you need deep legs. And its gotta be off the ground enough so your tails dont drag when you lean into the rail. I help put rails in at a hill and the legs on the C-rail are 4ft long, about a foot of that stays out of the snow and we put it on a bank so its kinda a rainbow-C cause really they should be longer. Wow this is long.
well, there's inserts in all the bases that accomodate big stakes. you just pound in these stakes and bury them, thus giving the more neede support. I made them like this so that you can still use them in very little snow, like a backyard setup. its all worked out......
good thinking with the holes in the bottom for the stakes and all but what may i ask are you using for the actual rails and also are you bending them yourself with a pipe bender?
