just keep doing ur thing and you develop your own style as you learn new tricks just toss in a little tweak and do what feels good. also good looks grom
Dude like everyone else mentions that was not a bad 3. You are composed and in control which is great. The key to any trick and looking smooth doing it is just down to practice. Its so cliche but practice does make perfect. If there are any pointers to give I would look into trying a couple of things that will help your overall air awareness better: Learn how to shifty when doing spins, add basic grabs and take it to bigger hits. So why learn how to shifty, well it can help you out a lot if you realise that you are under-rotating or if you are over-rotating, it is also an easy thing to add even on small jumps. It might feel weird at first countering your initial rotation in the air but you learn how to tweak it. In a similar way to shiftying you can also open up your body to stop rotation, for instance in the video you still have quite a lot of rotation in the landing which makes it more difficult to stomp. Grabs are great even if they feel tricky at first, just in general compressing your body in the air makes it easier to stay relaxed and smooth throughout the trick, grabs like critical, safety, japan are a good place to start. Be aware that different grabs have a different effect on your spin so setting the rotation might differ between grabs. As for bigger hits the margin for error becomes bigger, but it is a very good way of becoming comfortable in the air. The usual mistake when taking on bigger jumps is that you set the rotation too hard in the take off and over-rotate, thats when the shifty and opening up can save you. Just remember to have fun out there and its all about good times in the nature with homies.
That does look good as people have been saying. My advice is to wind up less and pop more. Your rotation will slow down a little, but that's fine, as you over rotated slightly in the clip as indicated by your landing in a bit of a snowplow which caused your right foot to slide out to the side. The extra pop will also give you more time to get the more relaxed rotation around and grab. Keep up the good work though! It looks like you could have gone to 540 of that jump no problem.
I can already tell if u keep that up ur gonna have suppperr dope style soon enough. If you focus on always riding and doing tricks with style it will just continue to develop more and more. That was a nice 3 tho very nice. Filming regularly (but not annoying friends by asking them every 2 seconds) is gonna help tons.
for being a tiny jump, that was pretty smooth! I would recommend working on setting the rotation with your hips instead of your arms - you don't really need to swing them around so much to rotate a 3 (maybe when you're doing triples you'll need a bit more torque). keep practicing and toss in a grab when you're comfortable. yeehaw!
