WHY IS THIS RATED SO HIGH??

I mean dont get me wrong, i have a ton of respect for someone who was injured, the utmost. It is horribale to see anyone injured while skiing, and with that in mind its pretty disturbing to see a video like this rated so high. Its not like its good, I would even have to think it should be some what private to those involved.

Bfilm I think youre missing the point. This a strong message showing anyone out there who currently does not ski with a helmet what can potentially happen to your most important organ.

bfilm - As Kevin's aunt, yes, the video is difficult for us to watch, but his family is proud of him for putting this out there, and proud of all his friends for taking care of him, especially his brother, who didn't even know the camera was rolling. The response has been amazing, in the number of people who are now wearing helmets, or wearing helmets in all conditions, because of Kevin. Lesson learned...

I agree helmets should be worn, and like i said never ment any disrespect for any comments i said. Just thought it was private.

And I would like to go back on my words.. I think it is important for people to know some of the unfortunate consequence that could occur. Especially if you and the rest of the family support it being seen then yes it is a good idea.

I think it was just an initial reaction i had, so many videos on the internet have different meanings and reasons for being displayed, but the purpose of this one is for the positive outcome of safety....its great to hear that there has been a positive response and increase in safety awareness for the sport.
