Unrelated But last week I got my skis mounted at Evo and they literally handed my skis back to me with the pivot toe piece not even remotely screwed in 6-8 mm of space between the binding and the skis. They also set my din to 6 on one ski and the other to 10. Not sure what's going on at EVO rn?
Pretty sure that should be flush against the ski otherwise water is gonna wreak havoc on the drilled holes. I'd take them back and ask them to make sure the screws are all the way out of the toe and heel piece before screwing down
It's not uncommon for the black plastic plate to not be 100% flush with the ski, especially on skis with a lot of camber. As long as the four screws are actually tightened down all the way, it's fine.
