He's a Wa boy he's allowed to use no poles Mahre's the man. I've ridin most my life in Washington(I started in Utah hence the name) and I ride half the time w/ out poles and oh I did it before Mahre was on the scene. I think it's a Washington thing or started there, correct me if I'm wrong.
