I heard about that all the way out here in Cali tho... we have had similar shit out in the backcountry behind Squaw and Alpine Meadows, lots of gnarly terrain, lots of powder, lots of rocks and lots of steeps.

Beacons are a nessesity, if you dont have one, dont even dare to venture out there, its too savage...
