actually ive seen many other artists with the same style as jibtastic...i dont even think he entered the h3o contest,and if he did i didnt see it.plus if you had seen at my old icon that i had WAY before the h3o contest it had a space invaders character,the ghost fits the name of my design thing,ghosts of the streets

ps: jibtastic's entry for the h3o contest was the pink Pac Man ghost thing, and around that period, he had been using a bunch of the other Pac Man figures in his graphics. But, like I said, you MUST be right. I'm just some idiot who doesn't really know two shits about design.

itsbackfliptime, so what does a picture of her a few years ago, wearing excessive make up have anything to do with it? does it make her points any less valid? No. She makes perfect legitimate points. She looks nowhere like that anymore.

Second, I completely agree with her. That graphic is asthetically pleasing and did turn out pretty good man. Props on upping the anty, ghostsofthestreets, your work is starting to turn out alot better. On a side note, you still could've balanced the graphic out a little. You have everything weighted down on the left side and 80% of the right side is open space. Which also doesn't work out too well for most desktops - where the icons are placed on the left side.

Apart from that, ghostsofthestreets, you are missing the whole point. Even if this graphic is asthetically pleasing, it would still lack one of the greatest and most important elements in graphic designs; creativity, concept, and originality.

We'll just call it coincidence that every element about this picture does infact look like jibempyre's/jibtasic's work in the past. Aside from that, even you have claimed that your other graphic ''looks too much like some jibtastic stuff''. Then you go on to say ''actually ive seen many other artists with the same style as jibtastic''.

Where's the originality in that?
No one is asking you to try to change your style, All what we are saying is that without originality and creativity a graphic is just graphic porn. -stripped of a message/meaning/purpose

You can get all offended and take any form of criticism as a personal insult, or you can learn from it and make your next work that much better.
It's your choice.
