the dweller may not have metal edges, but it still turns on snow that is soft enough, as long as youre not riding super hard pack or ice youre ok... but the edges of it are sharp enough to cut into fairly soft snow, and jp walker attested to the fact that you still have to put it on the rail right because he hung it up on rails just as hard as a regular edged board
