There is no way tis is possible, i think it is a joke, but that is just too weird. But if it is, the reasearch will not have anything good come out of it.

i guess it was impossible to fly 200 years ago too, but we fly 1000's of flights a day now.

i also recall a story that takes place around 40 years ago about a man who had this similar parisite deal and it slowed the heart down so that our instruments couldnt detect he was alive. they had a funeral 3 days later and burred him. he then awoke in his grave and dug his way out and walked back to town. hes still alive to this day, and the only survivor. everyone else that got the parisite died.
