I havent seen anyone else talk about this yeat. It is not to be confused with high quality. The little link under the video actually says "watch in HD"

Its a snowboard video, but the concept is pretty neat. and it just looks amazing for youtube.

you can embedd in HD i think, somebody did it in a thread a few days ago. that is a sick video though, and the quality is good! looks like youtube is catching up to vimeo (or vimeo a least lost their HD edge).
