Youtube frame size

I use a gopro hero 960 and my videos dont fill up the whole youtube player. i compress the files in mpeg streamclip to apple pro res 422, slide the quality all the way up, leave it unscaled. and then upload it to itunes before sending it to youtube. Heres one of my videos:

any help as to why its not filling up the whole screen?

thats 1280 by 960, aka vertical

horizontal, which is what you would consider your normal "youtube frame size" is either 1920 by 1080 or 1280 by 720

Gopro 960 shoots an image that is 960p. Who is tard? You is tard.

yeah obviously its not the normal 16:9 aspect ratio so its cropped a bit (960 vs 720 obv) but its cropped even more and the image doenst even fill in the frame to the bottom. look at the video.
