well i would say not many are at a pro/ top am status or cant compete at that level. there are some exceptions like duncan adams and sean petite. but alot of the guys you said arent groms. Im the same age as kye, tosh, parker etc and i wouldnt consider 16 or 17 that young anymore. That age is the level where AM's in the past have taken off on their career. 17 is like when rainville started to hit it big. So i would consider that age group, around late 16-18 where "groms" are no longer groms and must come to the pro/ top am level

i think a select few can keep up in the park for sure.. the real question is when it comes to handrails or backcountry type stuff..
 
i remember skiing bristol back in the day when ahmet and giray were still midgets and even then they were pretty much sicker than anybody else on the hill. of course, bristol had no decent park to speak of back then, so they weren't doing switch double cork 12s over 90 foot tables or anything. but i remember seeing giray doing flat 5s and 7s when he was what? 13? 14? i don't know. ahmet i mostly remember just being really angry...just kidding, they both killed it when they were little groms and still do. from what i hear, ahmet's segments next year are going to blow EVERYONE's minds.

 
ill b a fuckin haten bitch all i want fuckin folk... if he is still hitting puberty and all this an he is still a "grom" then why does his nipple ass have so much hype!!! HE SUCKS
 
Nipples is sick I hate to admit but in his promo he barely did any grabs.

I think he is a good skier but i dont think hes deserves all the hype.
 
i just turned 15 and towards the end of the year got some pretty good style on rails instead of putting up my hands lol.

but next year, im focusing on the jumps a lot more...i wish i had bc skiing in pa haha, thats basically my love when it comes to skiing.
