Youriding 2

Never thought I'd post here again but you guys should support this game.

It has SO much more potential to be awesome than Shred Sauce; I'm tellin' ya.

A full team of professional designers v.s. some half-wit FUCK working out of a basement? Support it. Stop fucking around, Shred Sauce is awful.
 
please leave NS and never come back, Malcolm made that game by himself on his sparetime and Youriding is made by a whole team, plus ShredSauce gets updated all the time and he even adds features suggested by NS

Shredsauce is the only game not blocked by my school. plus you can play it without internet (just keep the tab open). Youriding sucked when i played it. I don't know if you riding 2 will be better.

I don't care how good YouRiding is, no one wants to pay ten grand for a most likely shitty skiing game.
 
Hi, I just discovered your conversation. I know YouRiding very well , I also talk about it in another topic on the forum.

Honestly guys, don't fight about YouRiding and ShredSauce. The games are very different.

For YouRiding it'll be:

- 2 sports

- PC & MAC standalone

- very detailed Rider, lots of entertainment, more flexible setting of the slopes

- differents slopes available

- visuals effects

- multiplayer and social game mode...

and so on...

Instead of taking sides, I think we should test both because they have nothing in commun. I guess they'll be certainly complementary.

can the 2 teams collaborate some how? maybe malcom can do some designing, taking fan suggestions ect,?? he seems pretty good at it
 
doesnt look like they are going to get much money... Kinda disappointing but I hope they can still make a game.
 
YouRiding will release the game anyway. There will be the features that the budget allows.The BETA will be available at the end of november.

Early 2013, the game will be free to play with paying options.
 
woah, i just came up with the best idea ever!you can play TWO games, shredsauce and youriding. you don't need to pick one over the other...

anyway, it's almost november, so I'll check out the beta version when I get it and see if it is anything special

I don't take sides on this issue, but I will be a moderator. NS did not start any feuding whatsoever between the games, YouRiding clearly has been taking potshots at Shredsauce from the very beginning.

If anyone needs to stop the fight, it is the YouRiding crew.

The first mention of this on FB was:

"YouRiding Freeskiing It's going to be a PC game, with fullscreen and the ability to play with a controller or a keyboard. The physics will be much better than in Shredsauce and there will be a full game design behind it that will let you create your rider as you want and play with and against other players."

That is a direct and hostile attack.

I'm all for competition in a free market place, but please make sure facts are straight before posting.

Also, do not mis-interpret this as hostility on my part, I'm simply playing debate moderator here... and we need to be using facts if we're going to get anywhere.

 
I guess that YouRiding didn't want to be hostile against ShredSauce. As said before, the games are complementary. The team just wanted to compare and differentiate themselves from ShredSauce. Indeed, there will be a scenario, avatar customization, a multiplayer mode: things that do not exist in ShredSauce, yet.
 
I'm all for complimentary, but to compare yourself to something is to create hostility.

Simply be who you want to be, and if the people follow then that is fantastic! I also highly recommend reaching out and making a more official relationship with the freeskiing community (newschoolers). As a staff we're pretty open to working with partners who are doing cool stuff.

 
Looks pretty shitty. And stop sending your drones here to try and support the game. You guys are wannabes, hybrids between snow and shredsauce. Don't deny it.
 
$20 for a beta? I'm not sure you guys understand how indie game development works. Show me a working product (actual gameplay), let me test it to see if I like it (limited beta / demo access), then I'll consider giving you money. I'm not going to drop $20 on something I don't even know if I'll enjoy.
 
I personally play both! I love them even though the different controls and different everything else. I think that Youriding 2 in more realistic, but if you want fast flipping and crazy hucks, you would go with Shredsauce. Both great games and I give lots of credit to Malcom and the makers of Youriding!
