Your ski friends

are your ski friends mostly better than you or worse than you at skiing? I feel like most of my favorite people to ski with are kinda trash

I feel like half and half one group I skis with is older and way better and I just constantly progress with them but with my other group of similar or younger kids I’m the better one and it’s just rly fun to help them progress and just cruise myself

my homies from back home at hyland are pretty ass ngl but two of my montana homies also from hyland although can’t to as many park tricks than me are def better skiers than me in pretty much every way especially poe

Me and my friends are a little over the place. A lot are lower than me, a lot are just as good, and a lot are way better than me. Then again some stuff is subjective, some can do jump tricks or big rail spins while I’m vice versa. We all have our own styles and are always pushing eachother to just have more fun by being creative, and trying new things.

my ski friends are all sick riders and I’m proud to be friends with them.

The best skier in our group probably could have tried his hand at getting to the FWT in his mid 20s and definitely still can throw down when he wants to and conditions are good. I'd say I'm on the lower end of our group in terms of tricks but not in terms of skiing ability. Our floor for the crew is pretty high honestly in comparison to other groups of skiers that aren't pros. What I find most interesting is the amount of older pros who are more stylish than the new generation. I know style is developed over time, but I love skiing with people who have good style, and for some reason that seems to be a lot of the older generation (30-35)

My local always has a big crew of pretty much anyone that tries in the park. There was a particular day where we actually did a headcount cause it was so many people. it came out to 29 in a crew of all different skill levels and it was the best day ever

and they constantly tell me I need friends who skis and are better than me. Pretty much a round about way of saying you ain’t getting any better lmao

I feel your pain

my main ski group is barley doing 180s but as soon as they get more confident i’ll be teaching them a ton. hopefully with a mix of summer setup and early killington next season they will be doing front 2s at least

they used to be better then that’s what makes you improve give it a season or 2 and you’re most likely better than them ! sadly blame covid all my ski friends have left town and i ski alone :((

I'm the better rail skier but realistically I have like 3 tricks I do on jumps.

My ski friend is a better jump skier but he only does like 3 tricks on rails.

The people I go ski with twice a season only on Saturdays drink better than me.

I'm the best skier but my friends that I ski with are just lifelong homies that ski more casually. It would probably be good for me to ski with some people that are way better than me.
