Okay so a buddy of mine showed me this video through an E-Mail and i was looking at the thread on the Obama Approval Rating and I wanted to see what you guys thought of this

Sounds dead on, the politicians in the country are so arrogant they think they know whats best for us even when their constituents are telling them something totally different. I find it absolutely pathetic that people had no idea who or what they were going to be voting into office this past election, they only cared that it wasn't gong to be Bush or the horrible Republicans. The same people that bitched and moaned how much the war was costing, but when it comes to massive amounts of wasteful spending by the people they voted into office they're willing to sit there and take it. The majority of the USA bought into their bs and smooth talk and now we, our kids and our kids kids are going be be footing the bill for this.
 
haha i like how it gave the presidents address. necessary? yes. plausible? to a minor extent. i think a good place to start is term limits. thoughts?
 
That video pissed me off. Everything was great until he talked about taking away the electoral college. This idea has always pissed me off. Theres a reason its there. The founding fathers weren't idiots. An election done without the electoral college and just popular vote would favor the cities and not rural areas. Politicians would just appease people in cities to get votes. Rural areas wouldnt influence politicians enough and would be basically forgotten. The electoral college is smart. The rest of the vid was good though.
 
yea i wasn't sure if a lot of people were going to have seen it already, but it looks like its hit and miss with who has and has not seen it
 
win. again and again and again.

i really wish we could pull up the thread(s) where i and many others said this over and over. oh well.
