Your pre-ski routine?

So what are your little quirks before getting on the hill?

two red bulls?

lots of coffee?

wearing flip-flops to the hill regardless of the weather?

driving with goggles on?

boots under the floor vents?

wake 'n bake?

 
haha true i never really thought about that..good post...umm probably eat some gummy bears..get a couple people over that im going up with and watch a video for like 10 minutes then go...but if its an early morning..gummy bears and then just go and i always have to wear black socks
 
mine is just. watch a couple movie segments and read a magazine on the way there, then stretch. and eat the most sugary serial possible to get my amped. like fruitloops wiht the 10 teaspoons of sugar.
 
give my skis a quick rub on wax night before, sleep upstairs, shower wake up, oatmeal, dress.... I usually fall down the stairs, thats not done on purpose but I've done it 5 times in a row. my boots are warm over the vent get in car goggles on get dropped off and ski
 
get up, drive 23 miles, spot the closest gas station, get breakfast, then put in the dandy warhols cd, drive the rest of the way.
 
The mountain is 1.5 hours away so i have some car time. so i listen to reggae the whole time in the car, and when i get there i go in the lodge and stretch and do yoga while listening to more reggae and then i go shred, listeting to more reggae
 
get home from school as fast as possible put on all my ski stuff in 10 mins run to the bus stop hope i didnt miss the bus get on the bus and ill be at the hill in 20 mins.
 
Let's see. Before school, I throw my skis and stuff into my car. After school I get into my car with some friends goin up that day and drive to the hill. I get dressed, throw my MP3 into my pocket and get in the lift line.
 
Put shit in car

Scream the entire way at fuckheads and tourists who can't drive

Listen to loud death metal in parking lot to piss everyone around you off

wake up on a couch at about 8am, rush to get dressed and hop in my car for the 5 min drive to the blackcomb daylots... go to EBCB for an egg n'ride and english breakfast tea then go hang out at can-ski with erica until whoever I'm riding with shows up!
 
well i wake up get dressed get in the car get their...

my only real ritual is i must put on the perfect song before i get onto the chairlift that morning. if i cant find that perfect song i will just block every1 in line while i find it ... oh and i have to to a green run to get to the park every morning so its a must to do a large chunk switch
 
I usually eat pretty healthy big breakfast, because i don't like going in at lunch for longer than to go the washroom... listen to music on the way up... and if i think i'm going to be skiing harder than usual (hiking alot and no doing park) i do a little warmup and stretching in the parking lot, even though i look like a fool... then we go harrass the liftees.
 
1. Wake up 2. Make Coffee 3. Drink Coffee 4. Start Car 5. Put stuff in car(notice that my boots are still in the car from yesterday) 6. Drive to the gas station 7. get gas and more coffee 8. smoke 9. Get to hill 10.Piss in snowbank 11. Realize I'm too lazy and dont want to go, but go anyway 12. SKI 13. EAT 14. DRINK
 
Get on long under wear and snow pants (jacket if its really cold out side) load up my stuff into the car, If my friends are already there I load up some of there stuff too ( being nice). Then ride up listening to really good music really loudly, then stretch get to the lift ( even though Im a whole shit load younger then all of them) flirt with the lifties. Then SHred!
 
I wake up, eat something, stretch a little, get dressed, drive up and drink a redbull or a rockstar right before i get on the hill.
 
wake up, get my undergarments on, make some hot coco, get all my ski shit out and warm it up buy the fire, watch some tunes, eat some waffles usually drink a nice glass of milk, through my shit in the car, drive out to da mountain, either solo or pick up someone so i can park for free, put on my boots and then shred
 
leave friday night for the mountain. Chill with friends if anyone if up at the mountain. Wake up saturday, eat something, get gear on, walk outside, put skis on, and done.
 
The only pre-ski routine that I have is smoking bowls, everything else I do is not pre-planned besides smoking.
 
music music music. get my ski playlist set and get my necessary snapple or juice. light breakfast. more music. then ski like king kong.
 
Wake up. Wash my face. Put ski gear in front of fire. Lift. Stretch. Put on socks first, then long johns, then ski pants. Put on a hoodie, throw jacket in car with helmet, gloves, etc. Wax skis. Put them in car too. Spin brodies in my driveway/parkinglot behind my house. Drive to mountain recklessly. Park, Click in, Shred.
 
no, but have a condo up there. so drive up friday nights sometimes, ski sat. and sun. then drive back to my house for school on monday

wake up, go eat something, call my freind, watch a ski movie until my ride gets to my house, drive 10 minutes, get out, walk to the lift, strap up, get on, ride to the top, get off. SKI.
 
Wake up-but some good music on... breajfeast while listneing to music, listen to good music on the road until I arrive then start my ipod and go ski
 
If in NJ i get picked up by my friends mom stop at duncin doughnuts and drive 45 mins to the mtn ------ If in VT (mount snow) i get woken up by my friends dad we all go down stairs and eat eggs, bacon, and toast no exceptions, and playing by the time we get down there is a ski vidoe
