so i got home from skiing the other night and i put my boots last (last years dalbello kyrpton) underneith my kitchen table and then set my beer on the table.... some how my roomate knocked my beer into my boot upside down (prolly was half full or so) and it just poured into my boot :-|. the damage is done i drank a couple gulps out of the boot cause i felt it was needed. so now whats the best way to clean this fucker out?

+k for help

ya my room smells like it as well cause it drying out... i threw some dish soap with a lil bit of water to clean er out. i was just wondering if any one had and tips to getting back to norm.

i would probably put both liners into the wash on a light cycle with some other towels or something. just make sure they don't shrink. way to go on drinking out of your own ski boot.

nice!
but seriously now, i think your best bet is cleaning it out as good as possible with hot water and some soap, then clean with a dry towel and perhaps a hairdryer (if it isn't a thermoliner)
you could also put the boots in the freezer overnight to kill yeast cells and other bacteria/organisms inside, this might also remove previous smelly odors ..

You should've chugged it all! I did a similar thing in the car park after a days riding last year, felt it was needed to chug what was in the boot. Got home and stuffed the lining with newspaper and left it. Didn't notice any smell, would worry about it really.

ya i'd just remove the liners and throw em in the wash and set it to delicate. dont put them in the dryer though, just let them air dry

cold wash and airdrying is ok i think, isn't there a label somewhere with washing instructions ?
but expect a lot more time for them to dry, if you don't need em by tomorrow that could work...
and yes, i was serious about the freezer, it kills the bacteria and fungi and all other crap in spilled substances (not all, but definately a lot) it also works great if you've spilled stuff in a book, wipe it off as good as possible and freeze it in for a day....
