one of my friends works there in my town, and i inquired if they ever had any scrap lumber of metal... well they did.. i had a huge selection from old sign posts, barrels, even a truck door... so if you know anyone give them a call or just stop by its a great plae to get scraps for jibs...
i only grabbed 3 pieces to start
a single barrel flat, a longer one thats bent so now it has a mellow kink built in... and this weird ladder piece that i think used to be a bike rack
ive started to "CLR" it which is a bit of a process but it cleaning up really nicely.. then ill paint it (purple im thinking)
i have quite figured out a way to use them though.. come winter i can take the rack an put it on its side as a flat rail.. but im not sure how to make a frame for the others... suggestions would be so appreciated.. this is for my witer setup not a summer so please keep that in mind
